Dubbed the 'King of Malaysian Comedy', Douglas Lim will be performing in Hong Kong for the first time on Thursday, 21 August, at Freespace The Box in the West Kowloon Cultural District!
Douglas Lim is synonymous with Malaysian comedy. Over the past 20 years, his witty and comedic observations have regularly featured in the country's films, TV programmes, musicals and plays.
Douglas rose to fame with his portrayal of stylist Steven in Malaysia's most successful English-language sitcom, 'Kopitiam', which ran for seven seasons. This role also earned him numerous awards in Malaysia and across Asia. In addition to his Asian performances, Douglas has also participated in the renowned Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and his programme was broadcast on ABC TV in Australia!
